Dear Band Families,
As we near the end of a fantastic school year, we have a number of exciting events and important reminders coming up. Please take a moment to review the schedule and get involved as you’re able – we appreciate your continued support!
1. Hazel Dell Parade – Saturday, May 17
- Call time: 8:00 AM at HHS
- We need 8 adult volunteers to march with the band and help distribute water.

2. Eat with the Bands – Monday, May 19 (5:00–9:00 PM)
- Grab dinner at Chipotle and support the band program!
- A portion of sales goes back to the program—just mention you’re with HHS Bands or use the online code RGH8TZL.
- Chipotle: 14321 NE Fourth Plain Blvd.
3. District Jazz Night – Tuesday, May 27
- Location: Mountain View High School
- Time: 6:00–8:00 PM (Student call time is 5:00 PM at Mt. View)
4. End-of-Year Band BBQ Potluck – Friday, May 30 (6:00–8:00 PM) at HHS
All HHS Band students and families are invited! Boosters will provide pulled pork, plates, and utensils.
Please sign up to bring something:
- Wind Symphony: Beverages
- Symphonic Band: Desserts & Appetizers
- Concert Band: Side Dishes (ideas: salads, beans, mac & cheese, cornbread, etc.)
5. Starlight Parade – Saturday, May 31
- Call time: 5:00 PM at HHS
- Estimated return: around 1:00 AM – it’s a late one, but so much fun!
- We need 10+ volunteers ? Go here to volunteer!
6. Final Band Concert – Tuesday, June 3 (7:00–8:00 PM) at HHS
- Student call time: 6:30 PM
- Come celebrate a year of incredible music!
7. Uniform Return – Thursday, June 5, During Class Time
- All students must return CLEAN marching uniforms during class.
- Unreturned or unclean uniforms will result in a fee.
8. Graduation Commencement Performance – Friday, June 6
- Call time: 5:30 PM at HHS
9. Final Band Booster Board Meeting – Tuesday, June 10 at HHS
We’ll be electing new board members and are still looking for board members and volunteers for the 2025–2026 school year.

10. All Outstanding Balances Due – Wednesday, June 11
Final payments are due for Fair Share, Trips, competition fees, etc.
