Band Fairshare Details

HHS Bands Fair Share

Please complete the Fair Share electronic form and submit to the Band Boosters by October 15.
Fair Share is necessary for ALL Heritage High School (HHS) band students participating in Concert, Symphonic, Wind Symphony, or Jazz Bands. We make every effort to keep our Fair Share fees as affordable through fundraising, seeking donations from business partners, and by relying on parent and student volunteers to help with the work of running this band program.
All fundraisers offered directly affect Fair Share because, without participation, every family would have to pay more out-of-pocket. Without fundraising, the Fair Share fee would be significantly higher. All Fair Share payments and fundraising credits go into the general operating account and are used to support the HHS Band program with (not limited to):
  • HHS Artist in residence program fees, where students receive in-class group lessons with instrument specialists.
  • Guest conductors’ fees, which have a large impact on the band’s musical growth & experience.
  • Uniform replenish & maintenance costs (e.g., ties for all band members, tuxedo jackets, gloves, repairs, and uniform maintenance).
  • Entry fees for Band festivals such as Bands of America, Clark College Festival, WindFest etc.
  • Band materials such as percussion supplies (mallets, drumsticks, & drum heads), sheet music, etc.
  • Operating fees including PO Box, Insurance, and state and federal filing fees.
All students participating in HHS bands will submit their Fair Share Payment contract and payment* by October 15.
*Payment will either be in-full, or if a payment plan was selected, the first installment payment will be due.
Payments submitted after the due date will incur an additional $5 (per month) late fee.
